Do we ever learn what thought causes Harry's huge patronus in Prisoner of Azkaban?

when harry and sirius are dying from the dementors then harry comes out of the woods with hermione he casts a huge & brilliant patronus that takes away all the dementors. do we ever find out what thought it was that caused harry to be able to produce such a large patronus?
