A question regarding Migraines.?

I don't get headaches, no let me rephrase that, I NEVER get headaches.. never. Today while in a supermarket with pretty intense fluorescent lighting I starting getting some major vision problems, it was like my left eye was a pane of gl, and there was water running down it and pooling at the bottom, that what it looked like thru my eye. My eyes were not watering at all, it was purely a visual thing. I also got little blind spots when I tried to read package lables. When I eventually left the store, and I was driving my motor scooter, the earlier symptom had dissipated, but then I started getting neon lightening flashes at the top of my left eye. It was so bizarre.. When I asked someone, they said it was a migraine. I don't have any head pain, but there is now a feeling of pressure in my head.. Is this what some migraines are like?
