Which type of braces should I get?

Within the coming few weeks, I have to get braces. I have a choice between colors or the clear, and don't know which ones I want! Do the clear make your teeth look yellow? I can't decide, because I don't want them to look noticeable, and I don't want colored braces that look like you have fruity pebbles stuck in your teeth!!! All my friends say color, but I hate being like everyone else, it makes me feel like a copy-cat. I'm starting on leaning toward colors, but....???? Opinions, please!!!
