Who is at fault for this car accident? Please help!?

How did driver A's vehicle get a badly dented drivers side door if he went from the "left" lane to the "middle" lane and driver B come from the "right" lane and hit vehicle "A" in the middle lane? It is not possible. The damage would have been to the drivers side of vehicle "B" and the penger side of vehicle "A".
