What could be the cause (2ww this is not a do u think Im Pregnant question) please answer, should i be worried?

my usually are sore around time for af... usually its just on the sides and I can really only tell when I touch them.. Lately my have been extremely sore, on the sides, around the top and my are a lot more sensitive.. they have been aching for about 2 weeks now.. started about a week before ovulation and continues today.. even tho we have been TTC, I dont think I'm preg. cycle is 28 some times 29 days long.. this cycle we were not as focus on TTC as we were on just being together.. we did BD from 7/30-8/1 and again on 8/7... it wasn't really for TTC, we were just having fun.. n e way, I cant explain away these sore .. cramping as started, this week.. I usually cramp about a week before AF. so that's not too strange.. just wondering what else could cause my to hurt for so long.. I thought maybe I had gotten preggo last cycle, tested and BFN.. any thoughts?? could there be an underlining issue??
