You pretty well answered your own question. Might add a little; We did drift very close to a socialistic state in the late 60's and 70's but then Reagan came along and headed the country to the right. A right turn was needed then, but we have continued to the right, rather than steer to the middle [Moderate] Controls were put in place for good reason, problem was there were too many controls. We will always struggle with controls and regulation, but it would be foolish not to realize this and be ever watchful.
