Can I stop receiving all postal mail?

You can remove your mail box if that is an option and then the carrier should return your mail as "No mail receptacle". The postal service has to deliver the mail because the company sending it is paying for the postage and service. You can also go to the direct marketing ociation website and request to be taken off mailing lists. This will help with companies that are members of the DMA. This is the only way I know of to stop the mail. I'm surprised that the carrier just didn't take the mail back to the office and put in a moved left no forwarding order since you didn't pick up your mail.
