No IDea..........................…

Hi I'm 18 and I'm visitng LA in October which I can't wait to do!! However it sucks because I know you have to be 21 to drink and get into clubs over there whereas it's 18 here in Britain. Anyways being a rebel and all I'm going to make up some form of fake ID.... will they accept a British student card for example? Or do they solely accept pports? If they do accept student IDs , etc then do they have scnaners like some of the clubs here that can tell it's a fake. Please only give serious, non- lecturing answers from experience of knowing about how thigns are done in america. Thanks, mucho appreciated, Nik.
