How should i do my hair for a mud race?

ok so im going to a mud race derby and i need a hairstyle that would be easy to do and will withstand the weight of the mud!!! by the way its going to be really hott!!!! i my hair is 1 inch below my shoulders and has layers. its also straight!!! can anyone help?
