Do I have goldfish or snail eggs in my tank?

There is a clear blob with tiny white dots on the inside of a hollow plastic rock ornament at the bottom of my tank (under the water). I have 3 goldfish (1 common, 1 telescope eye, 1 oranda). I've had the 1st two since Sept. 09 and just got the oranda last week. I also just got 1 apple snail a few days ago. They look like snail eggs (from what ive seen online), but they are UNDER the water! I also read that goldfish eggs can be clear! HELP!
