I'm in the army DEP and am 11x infantry. Is there any way I can get option 40 in my contract before I ship?

I leave for basic in may, and I have regular infantry in my contract. I was wondering if I could ask my recruiter to get option 40 in my contract before I leave for basic? Thanks and I would appreciate it if someone from the army could answer.
